Sometimes it is not enough just to select the best talks. Speaker’s execution on stage is equally important for our audience to walk away with best experience possible.
After a week of hard voting, 126 participants, gave out, on average, five votes to talks they wanted to see on the upcoming WebCamp Zagreb 2016 conference. Thanks to our voting dashboard, organisers were able to watch live how elections unfolded.
Too bad. We kept the community vote and you will again get to influence which talks you think should be part of this year’s conference.
Selecting talks made us both exhausted and very, very humble. Exhausted because we had to go through hundreds of proposals, looking at speaker bios, weighing if it is a good fit for our conference. Humble because hundreds of people want to come to Zagreb and share their knowledge and experience with others.
As we like to keep things transparent here at WebCamp Zagreb we prepared a short blog post to give you a sneak peek into our CFP selection process. We hope that it will motivate you to submit and give you a slightly better chance in being selected.
